Ministering to families and communities in Tegucigalpa, Honduras since 2014
Our mission is to break the generational cycle of poverty and violence by strengthening and empowering families through Christ-centered education, counseling and healthy recreation programs.
The Los Pinos neighborhood is a large community on the outskirts of the Honduran capital city, Tegucigalpa. This area is well known as one of the most dangerous due to strong gang control, and few aid organizations are able to work there. All of these factors combine to make it a difficult place to grow up, get an education, and break the cycle of poverty.
What We Do
To serve and support this community, we provide a variety of programs including school sponsorship for at-risk youth, free tutoring classes for students grades 1-6, Christian counseling with a licensed psychologist, community events to educate and encourage families, and other emergency programs aimed to show God’s love in very practical ways.
Our Team
Our small but dedicated ministry team is made up of God loving, servant hearted, incredibly talented locals who are called to serve their neighbors and their native community through this ministry.
