Hygiene Kit Donation

Each year, we plan a day to teach all of our tutoring kids about personal hygiene, as well as giving them each the tools they need to take care of themselves. This year we distributed 96 kits to our students in Los Pinos and Suntule, each kit including a bar of soap, washcloth, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant for the preteens. While these may seem like bare minimum basics, we’ve found that most of these kids don’t have access to them on a regular basis, and their health many times is affected. Everyone was excited and grateful for this gift!
