First Day of Tutoring Classes 🎉

The kids have been asking for weeks when “escuelita” would start again, and today was their very first day! They did introductions and received their notebooks for the year.

We’ve already seen many new faces, so it looks certain the class will continue to grow this year. We have a wide range of students - kids from 1st - 6th grade, kids who regularly attend school, an 11 year old who has never been in school, a 10 year old who only made it to 2nd grade, kids who need extra homework help since their parents can read nor write, and lots of kids who show up in dirty, dirty clothes full of holes but ready to learn! One thing is for sure, in this class they will be loved, encouraged, and given a super important step forward in their education.

Keep all of our precious kids in your prayers, as well as our teachers Edmy and Heydi, and also our new building to (hopefully soon) give us plenty of room for the growing class!
