Student’s Day

Yesterday was Students Day here in Honduras! While schools couldn’t celebrate together like they normally would, it’s a great chance to remember and pray for all of the students.

So much is still up in the air for this school year, since students only attended a month and a half of classes before lockdown started, and there’s no end in sight. What is certain is that kids and families are working their hardest to continue their education even under less than ideal conditions. Parents who didn’t receive an education themselves are now trying to teach their kids, all while providing for their household. They sacrifice food to be able to get internet packages on their most basic phone to be able to download the homework and stay as up to date as possible. It’s not an easy task!

Keep all the students in this country in your prayers as they continue forward and give their best!
