End of the Year Home Visits

We’ve started our end of the year visits with all of our sponsored families. This year more than ever, the visits are longer and are a chance to catch up with many families we haven’t been able to visit often at all throughout the year, as we all also plan how best to support the students in the upcoming school year. We are also able to bless each family with a bag of food provisions to help relieve hunger during the holiday season. Our time is full of both celebrations and tears, celebrating the great victories and mourning the tragedies of this year.

I thank God for this open door we have into so many homes and lives, to visit and share love and hope in Jesus name.

Thursday and Friday, we visited all the out-of-the-way places- the neighborhoods and sectors outside of the central area in Los Pinos where most of our families are located. We visited 14 families in El Tablon, El Jicaro, Zuntule, and 3 different Los Pinos sectors. Over the next few weeks, we have 52 more families to meet with, before figuring out how many new families we will be able to help this year as well!
