Prayers for Rain!

The nation of Honduras would appreciate prayers for rain, clearer skies and good health as we continue to face the climate crisis that worsens each year and has reached unprecedentedly dangerous levels this year. Due to changing climate patterns, the rainy season that should have started weeks ago hasn’t, delaying crop planting, making water extremely scarce, and trapping smoke and contaminants in the air over pretty much the entire country. Coupled with intense heat waves, this has resulted in weeks of cancelled classes and widespread respiratory disease, since for the 99%+ of Hondurans who don’t have air conditioning or tightly sealed homes, we breathe in this contamination 24/7. Please pray for rain!
